Hey Friends! I just wanted to let everyone know about our new video we're putting out. This is just one of the clips that will be edited into the movie once it is all done. This song "Silvia Lake" is a song about an actual lake called Lake Silvia that is off of highway 50 past Kyburs a little ways. It's the same way as you take if you are going to Wrights Lake. It's kind of a steep incline and a good view in the car. I back-packed into Lake Silvia with two friends I've known most of my life, we try to do some kind of pack every summer. This particular year we packed in a little bit of food, took turns carriying a case of beer in a suitcase and a bottle of Tequila. There's this flat rock up there across the lake and half-way up in with a bunch of these boulders, we commenced to sit there and drink and babble. The lake was a really beautiful lake and I had to write a song about it. So I made up a ficticious song about a woman from the 1800's that died up there and mixed in some of our obnoxious whoops and howling and how I saw Two Moons--- which was true -- I didn't see a ghost lady, I thought I heard a bear! I had to go back earlier than my two buds-- so I was elected to carry the bag of beer cans back down the mountain 5 miles--- total bear bait and badly hung over!! I definately wanted to stay-- it's a beautiful place to camp--- check it out sometime! Just make sure what you pack in-- you pack out! Check out the vid!
